How do I use this thing?

Using the Template Index is easy. You can either browse each section by templates, designers, or search. The search is easy, type in a word, keyword, or subject to be taken to the corresponding templates.

How does the index work?

When you browse, every designer or template that has posted here is displayed in the order it was posted, from newest to oldest. When you search it displays posts that contain the words you searched for.

How can I get my site and templates listed?

It’s easy! Just go to the join page, and follow the directions!

Where can I get a custom template?

Currently we don’t have a listing of that on this site, but hope to soon. You can leave a comment here requesting a design, or if you like a certain designers style, contact them on their site.

How do I make my own template?

A short basic tutorial on creating your own template is in the works. Check back later or sign up for the notifylist

Will you host my images for my template?

No, sorry we cannot host your images. Sign up for a diaryland gold account, or diary-x Plus! account and support your blog hosts! If you’re really cheap some designers will have places listed on their sites where you can host images for free.

Why dont the links go to the designers site or templates?

Holy crap! Thats not supposed to happen! Let us know immediately! Email us at templateindex@REMOVEyahoo.com so we can fix the problem as soon as possible.

Why can’t I sign in or get into the members area?

This area is only for template designers who have joined the site, sorry! If you are a template designer and have already joined, please email us with the error. If you’re a template designer and want to join, go to this page to join!

What about those other indexing sites listing designers?

We are not trying to take visitors away from them, we just felt that there was something missing from the diary template community. At times joining those sites is a daunting task. Sometimes just reading their FAQ sheets makes you not want to join! When you finally muster the guts to apply sometimes it takes months to do so. Then when you finally get a reply its flat out telling you “No! You can’t!”. Our site has less restrictions on what you need to join, which makes it easier for someone to apply. And even if you dont meet the requirements, we will help you as much as we can so that you do!
