Template Index is an indexing of many different diary templates. The selection of diaries supported varies, some of the most we have here are diaryland templates and diary-x templates. Some designers also support blogs such as blogger or livejournal. The templates are as varied as they come, and sometimes the designers will do customs if you still can't find what you need.

Here we index the designers as well as the templates that they have created. You can simply browse by reading the list of designers or templates or use the screenshot page to browse visually. If you are looking for something specific you can use the search feature found on every page. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for leave a note describing what you need and hopefully someone can either help you find what you need, or create a template just for you.

Template Index was created with the intentions of making an alternative to the norm. Most sites that Index template designers, do just that, index template designers. They dont say much about what templates each designer has. Some sites have the option of the designers adding their own keywords to describe their site, but nothing about the templates themselves.

There are sites out there which index templates as well as the designers, but these have strict joining guidelines, so only a select few can showcase their templates. What about the masses who want an easier way to look through everyones templates? Thats what we’re here for!

We dont require people to validate, or be certified designers. We figure that if someone doesn’t like a template, its their choice whether to use it or not, not ours. Sometimes somebody wants a really tacky template, other times one that looks like gold.

We are not against validation, we support it! But we aren’t going to force our opinions onto others. If you dont like someones template because it doesn’t validate, either leave a friendly comment on the index site, or go to the designers site and contact them personally to let them know!

If you have any problems with how this site is run, we’re too friendly, we have too many options, we need more keywords to search with, or if you have a suggestion, go ahead let us know! We will look into the content of each message you leave and predict your future (no not really) but we’ll see what we can do to make your experience here a better one!
